A friend group quiz guide for a relaxed game night
Give each friend a turn in the spotlight. One person answers about themselves, everyone else guesses, and the best part is hearing the stories behind the answers.
Agree on a small round before you start
Ask who wants to play and choose a pace that fits the group. You can play together during a hangout or leave the links in a chat for people to try later.
- Pick the first creator. They enter a nickname, choose a friend theme and answer a 10-question quiz about themselves. They can swap questions before publishing.
- Share that creator's challenge link with the group. Each participating friend enters a nickname and guesses independently.
- Read the leaderboard after everyone who wants to play has finished. Let the creator explain a few surprising answers.
- Choose the next creator and make a new quiz about them. Share their new link so everyone knows whose answers they are guessing.
Compare guesses within each creator's quiz
The score counts matches with the creator's chosen answers. A shared rank means friends earned the same score. Different creators can have different answers, so discuss each quiz on its own rather than declaring one overall best friend.
New challenges select 10 questions from a separate 30-question catalog. Creators choose a theme and can swap questions before publishing; each published link keeps its selected questions and order. Older shared quizzes can use an earlier question version. Let each link use its own questions and leaderboard. The editorial library is inspiration for conversation, not a custom-question editor.
If you want to keep a note of the evening, ask before saving or sharing anyone's nickname or score. Avoid posting a leaderboard outside the group without permission.
Make room for friends who joined recently
A newer friend may guess differently because they have heard fewer stories. Invite them to explain their guess, and let the creator share the missing context. Nobody owes the group a personal explanation.
For an extra conversation round, choose a few everyday favorites from the question library. Keep embarrassing stories, private messages and sensitive information out of the game. Anyone can pass on a question.
End with something you learned about each other or an idea for the next hangout. A low score can start a conversation. It should never decide who belongs in the group.
Keep each creator's access on their own browser
Each person creates and manages their own quiz from their browser. No account is required. My challenges lists quizzes owned by that browser, so it is not a shared group account or a way to recover another person's management access.
Send the public challenge link to participants. Keep management credentials and your answer choices private. For a remote round, use the WhatsApp sharing guide to check the link and send the invitation yourself.
